UPDATE...

CRAZY NIGHT:
Last night at 3:00am somebody started ringing our door bell. I woke Ronnie up just in time for him to hear somebody now jimmying our front door trying to get into our house! Ronnie flew out of bed and ran to the door in time to see a lady running down the road. This time he threw on some shorts and shoes (for those of you who have heard the story of Ronnie catching some people braking into our car at our last house and chasing them down in his G's barefooted) grabbed his keys and took off. After about 20 min I decided to call 911 just to let the police know what was going on. They said do you live at "such n such" and "does your husband drive a Chevy duramax truck"? "uh ya" I tell the operator. He tells me that Ronnie is following a suspect in his truck and they have police on the way. So I ask the operator if he can tell me whats going on, but of course he cant. Finally around 4:00am Ronnie gets back home. It was a 19yr old girl who was drunk out of her mind. She wasn't running from anyone... that's about all we know. The crazy thing is when Ronnie saw her running away from our house she was on her cell phone. Hopefully she wasn't working with some guys to brake into our house! FREAKY!

Our friends Darin and Megan treated us to a night at the Diamond Backs field with them this weekend. The seats were amazing, we were like 10th row from the field! Thanks guys for the great time!

Last weekend Ronnie took Faith to our ward camp out. Mine and Jaylee's bags were packed and sitting at the front door until Ronnie told me that we would all be sleeping in the back of the truck, Jaylee and I decided to stay home:)

Whiting Reunion

Faith, Jaylee & Chance in the talent show doing "Rubber Ducky"

Faith & her cousin having fun on the pony

Faith & her twin cousin getting their hair done

(they look like they should be sisters)

Faith loved riding the barrel train

We love reunion time! Every two years we get together at the homestead for our Whiting reunion. This year there was just over 1,000 people.

Highlights:

*catered meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner)for four days
*the ice cream shop
*the pony rides
*the barrel train rides
*line dancing
*milking the cow
*the talent show
*the variety show
*volleyball
*basketball
*horseshoes
*Sunday testimony meeting
*the zip line
*the rope swing
*water snakes
*horny toads and so much more.....

This year my grandma's first cousin Elder Douglas Shumway (quorum of the seventy) spoke at the Sunday church meeting, it was such a privilege to hear him speak and listen to all of his memories of growing up in St. Johns and his homestead and reunion memories, and all of his council! Just Amazing!

I cant remember if it was the reunion two years ago or four years ago but I remember somebody burying their testimony and saying "you know, heaven will be a lot like a family reunion....so if you don't like coming to the reunion you might not enjoy heaven". I'll never forget the feeling I got when I heard her say this, it is so true! Reunions & family... almost as good as heaven!

thanks Ashley for snapping our family picture:)

my little fish

Faith's 3rd year completing swim lessons!

BEST $500 I'VE EVER SPENT!!!

NO LIE, BY FAR THE VERY BEST $500 I HAVE EVER SPENT AND EVER WILL SPEND!!! ISR SWIM LESSONS!
I had never heard about ISR lessons until this summer. We spent 10minutes a day Mon-Fri for the last five weeks at these lessons. I have to admit I was skeptical at first. I was also very hesitant because of the five days a week, 4-6week commitment and of course the lessons are pricey. The first couple of lessons I even doubted if I had made the right decision. The lessons are very intense, emotional and Jaylee even threw up the first couple of times. You have to document every thing they eat and drink and every time they have a bowel movement and urination the entire time they are in the lessons. Before they graduate they have to pass off saving themselves, first in their summer cloths, then their PJs and then full blown winter clothing. The pics (BELOW) are of Jaylee passing off in her winter cloths. Long sleeve shirt, hooded sweater, jeans, socks and tennis shoes and diaper. The instructor sank her clear to the bottom of the pool, flipped her every wich way, threw her in face first and backwards and last she took off her sweater and threw it on top of jaylees face. My 1yr old baby can save her own life if she fell into water because she knows how to float and swim to the side of the pool! She can float as long as she needs to, until she would be rescued. I am in no way being naive, I understand a child should never be left unsupervised ever! But these lessons sure have given me some piece of mind. I HIGHLY recommend everyone get their kiddos into these lessons, it will be the BEST investment you have ever made! As soon as I can I will post the video of her passing off, it is really something to see!

Independance Day

July 4th was a little nontraditional this year. Ronnie and Faith flew to Utah for our nephew Ethan's baptism. They were gone for 5 days. Jaylee and I went to Show Low with my family for the celebrations(I HATE flying).

Faiths first time flying in an airplane and she loved it!

Faith loved visiting with all of her cousins

Jaylee had fun at the parade and fireworks!

My cute little sis! Today is her birthday! I feel so lucky to have her for a sister. I am so proud of all that she has acomplished! Happy Birthday sista! Below is a picture of her little girl (my gorgeous niece). Check out my photography blog to see more cute pics of her kiddos!

a week in San Diego

Ronnie & "Dog" the Bounty Hunter

Faith, Chance, "Dog" & dogs daughter

One week in San Diego is hardly enough compared to a month stay last year. No complaints though we had a ball! My Aunt and her son went out with us and then Chris, Bailey & Brody came out the last three days. We enjoyed all of our favorite food places, the beach, Old Town San Diego and a visit to the Birch Aquarium. One of the nights at dinner we sat next to "Dog" the Bounty Hunter and his family...kinda cool. The weather was great and we cant wait to do it again!

Memorial weekend...

Thursday we left for the mountains. By the time we got to Show Low we were in the middle of a snow storm (crazy). By Saturday the snow had melted and it warmed up enough to have a little fun. We spent the last few days playing at the homestead and "little red". We went to St. Johns to clean and visit family graves.

Faith graduates

Mothers Day & some

Mothers Day was great! I hope all of the mothers I know had a wonderful day!

I finished my photography class for the semester. I cant even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed everything about it, so much that I am taking another class at MCC during the summer. I have to get as much in now because Faith starts kindergarten in August.

I got the great news on Friday that Faith was accepted to Franklin! WHOO HOOO! I was kind of feeling like if she didn't get accepted that it wasn't meant to be...but after I went and observed one of their kindergarten classes I would have been sooo disappointed if she hadn't been accepted! Their curriculum is really something to see!
