I'm A 1st Grader Now!

Faith made it through her first day of all day school! She is so excited about playing on the big kids play ground now, visits to the school library, eating in the lunch room and all the other fun stuff BIG 1st graders get to do;)

I had a hair appt and decided I would take Jaylee along for a little advice from my stylist about her hair. Jaylees hair is complete oposite from Faiths, its thin and stringy and she refuses to keep hair things in. Im wishing now that I would have kept it long...it took almost three whole years for her to grow what little hair she did have:(

I was just THRILLED when Faith decided that she was going to make her and Jaylee look like "kittens" with a marker;) Luckily this stuff SCRUBBED off so Faith could say the prayer in primary just two days later...

Dance Recital

The girls had their dance recital in June (it was Jaylee's first dance recital) and it was so fun to watch both of my little dance divas!

Rachelle

My baby sister has been staying with us this summer. Four years ago she moved out of state and I hadn't seen her since then. She is so grown up. It has been a learning experience to have a teen in our house...myspace, all nighters, makeup & messes. Good times! She is such a great help with my girls and we all love having her here. Jaylee calles her "Sea Shell", too cute. Im sure you will be seeing more pics of Rachelle, she has more photoshoot ideas up her sleeve than I do {wink,wink}. Love ya sis!

Independence Day 2009

There is nothing better than a small town 4th of July! The horse and float parade down main street, hometown football games and yummy fry bread, fresh kettle corn... sitting right under the booming fireworks and smelling the sulfur in the air...afternoon shower storms, 4 wheelers, crawdad fishing, cousins & family, cool mountain air & lots & lots of dirt:)
