This was a much anticipated day for everyone. Faith was sooo over the moon that Jaylee was now going to be going to school with her. Jaylee talked about going to kindergarten the entire last year of preschool. Jaylee was soo excited and couldnt wait to be a big kid and go to big kid school like her big sister Faith. As for myself I never thought I would be the type of mom that would be unnerved about her baby starting kindergarten, but I nearly came apart at the seams. Jaylee bawling and clinging to my legs didnt help the matters, but kindergarten is such a milestone and Im so proud of both of my girls!

We sure look forward to four awesome days at the Whiting Homestead with all of our hundreds of Whiting cousins. Cant wait for our next reunion in 2014!

Grandpa Merls funeral and burial services

The passing of our dear grandpa on July 4th was very bitter sweet. We are so happy that grandpa is no longer suffering and that he could join our Heavenly Father and my dad and other close loved ones on the other side yet at the same time we are at a great loss without the patriarch of our family. I feel so blessed that me and other members of my family were able to hold grandpa as he crossed the vail.

Fathers Day 2012

This was a very special fathers day for the Merl Farr family. This was the last time we all gathered together as a family before grandpa Merls passing only two weeks later. We had a yummy dinner and we were able to take pictures with our sweet grandpa and give him gifts and lots of hugs and kisses and love. Happy Fathers Day to the greatest Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather ever! I was so blessed to be raised by a truely amazing man.
