Conference

I really enjoyed watching conference this weekend. I especially enjoyed Saturday because the kids allowed me to pay attention more. This scripture from one of the talks on Saturday really hit home with me. This is something that I am going to try to work alot harder at perfecting.

29 Let no corrupt communica-
tion proceed out of your mouth, but
that which is good to the use of
edifying, that it may minister grace
unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit
of God, whereby ye are sealed unto
the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath,
and anger, and clamour, and evil
speaking, be put away from you,
with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one an-
other, even as God for Christ's sake
hath forgiven you.

EPHESIANS 4:29-32

I need to work on that one too! I thought it was funny (just because it was so true for me) when he said it is hard to imagine such an angelic voice can turn so shrill and angry, it is actually not funny, ya know what I mean. I am definitely glad we have the opportunity to reevaluate our lives and try a little harder to be a little better.

I enjoyed conference too. All of the talks were wonderful. Ron and Christopher and Jason went to the Priesthood session and said it was really good too. I'm so thankful for our dear wonderful prophet. He reminds me of daddy. Such sweet and angelic men!

That is from one of the talks Josh and I really liked. I think we forget sometimes how much we let our words etc. effect our lives.

I believe that talk was given by James' mission president. It was one that really hit home for both of us too! I, too, noticed that comment about how such an angelic voice can turn so shrill. I know it's something I need to work on!
