first day of 5th grade/ first day of 1st grade

Faith is ecstatic that her BFF will be in her class again this year. Too bad Faith had to come home sick with the flu on her first day of 5th grade. Jaylee was excited until it was time to tell mom goodbye. She chased me out of her class crying:( This year is going to be an adjustment with Jaylee being in school all day this year. What I am going to do with myself without any kiddos following me around all day?
